The story of LIYA by items14 is one for all ages. From her childhood on, the founder of items14, the love for knitting, a cherished family pastime when growing up was there. The idea of an own knitwear label starts to take shape, when friends and stores liked the hand knitted pulls and cardigans very much and wanted to order some.
It started with designing limited series, this is where the name of the brands is coming from: items14, only 14 pieces per style, of unique hand-knitted garments and accessories, mainly in mohair silk and cashmere.
After presenting the first chunky knits to select premium boutiques in Belgium, rapidly securing the first orders, the brand is now in selective stores in the Benelux, Germany, Austria, Spain, Swiss, the United States.

In 2022 the brand launches her very first small collection cashmere machine knit and silk clothing, L I Y A antwerp was born.
L I Y A antwerp decides to forego mass production and instead relies on the talent and craftmanship of small family owned factories in Mongolia and Mauritius, where every piece is knitted, using time-honoured knitting techniques. At the core of this all, is a belief in sustainability and the immeasurable value of community. Every garment tells it’s own story, this for the woman wo bring to life L I Y A’s vision of how knitwear should be, perennially contemporary, deceptively simple, timelessly elegant and last of all, of the highest quality.
